Avastor in the news
Avastor hard drives continue to make their way into pro A/V facilities around the globe. A recent article on BroadcastNewsroom.com about an audio restoration project mentions Avastor drives as the choice method of storing and transporting the restored media. Cups 'n Strings Studio did the restoration for Bob Clearmountain's Mix This!. I pulled up the article and saw a photo of my good friend Tim Davis of Recording Data Service in Burbank. Tim and I used to work together when I was a co-owner of Recorded Media Supply in Burbank. He and his partners recently started up RDS in Burbank and are doing great. Replace "car" with "recording studio" and you will have the Yamaha NS-10M studio monitors. The NS10 monitors are not manufactured anymore but due to intense loyalty the replacement woofers and tweeters are still around.
