Long before the CD-R was around good ol' audio cassettes could be found in every car. We have customers who are pleasantly surprised to find Encore Data Products still has a few audio tapes available. Granted it is not the selection that used to be around but we do have a Maxell high bias Type II and a Sony normal bias Type I cassette available.
