Avastor has just introduced their latest product offering:  The SDX PRO line of hard drives. 

The Avastor SDX Hard Disk Drive is designed to exceed the requirements of the most demanding users. All SDX enclosures use SATA II hard drives which offer a blazing 300MB/s data transfer rate. To ensure that the SDX maintains maximum performance, the SDX power adapter supplies BOTH 5 and 12VDC - a full 3 amps of current. To further enhance the performance and assure compatibility across the wide variety of computer platforms and applications, the SDX uses the Oxford Semiconductor chipset in every FireWire enclosure.
