The LTO tape format is a big seller, from single tapes for office backups to multi tape purchases for data centers. LTO 3 and LTO 4 are our top categories these days since the cost of media has dropped and the capacities are much greater than the earlier formats.
DLT tape, sun T10000 tape and 3592 1/2" tape are also popular formats.
What else is available? Lots! Travan, AIT, VXA, DDS, QIC and more. Some manufacturers have discontinued the older formats but there is still plenty of inventory on most to go around.
