TEAC recently launched their T-1000 expandable USB Flash duplicator system.

A question that came up this week about this unit was

"why should I spend a little extra for the TEAC unit?"

I spoke with TEAC directly and asked the same question; here is what I was told:

The TEAC system offers a "smart copy" function which allows you to copy only the data on your source drive; this saves you time, especially when you only have a little data on a large key.

The T-1000 is built with individual slot modules instead of hubs.  By doing this the TEAC unit offers much faster data verification once your job is completed since each key is running through its own slot.

The user can use the machine as a stand-alone system OR connect it to a PC.  The optional WIN PC software allows you to create master files and store them on your computer.
