Here are just a few of the hottest upcoming education technology conferences to attend this year, along with their details.

Common Ground Maryland - November 18-19, 2022 - Ocean City, MD

For the past 10 years, the Common Ground Maryland educational conference has brought educators from all corners of the United States to Ocean City for Maryland’s top professional development of the year, and their 11th annual conference seems like it will be no exception!

From the Common Ground Maryland website: “This event will include thought-provoking speakers, over 100 inspiring sessions, and demonstrations of the latest products and services to provide you the 21st-century know-how you need.”

The Common Ground conference is a collaboration of 21 non-profit educational organizations focused on creating a one-of-a-kind learning experience full of innovative ideas, best practices, and teamwork. Educators and school administrators can look forward to visiting new concepts in teaching, leading, and learning in the digital age.

NYSCATE 2022 - November 19-22, 2022 - Rochester, NY

Each year, NYSCATE grows a little bigger and better, and this year’s conference is no exception! Featuring keynote addresses from game-based learning advocate Stephen Reid, cybersecurity expert, John Innarelli, and educator, author and founder of the Harvard Diversity Project, Brandon P. Fleming, NYSCATE promises to inspire and captivate attendees with fresh perspectives on education in technology.

You can attend all four days of NYSCATE 2022 for $395. Single day passes for Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are available for $185 each. CITE - November 29-December 2, 2022 - Long Beach, CA

California IT in Education, or CITE, bills its annual conference as “the biggest event of the year, and one you won’t want to miss!” In addition to appealing to forward-thinking educators looking to increase their classroom’s tech profile, this conference is specifically geared toward IT professionals including Chief Technology Officers, network managers, engineers, database administrators and IT support staff.

The 62nd annual CITE conference will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center and promises another amazing year of education technology insights from respected keynote speakers and presenters who are experts in their field.

VSTE - December 4-6, 2022 - Virginia Beach, VA

The world-famous Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE) is gearing up for its annual conference dedicated to providing educators with a fully-immersive experience in hands-on education technology demos, presentations, sessions, speeches and more! This year’s theme, “Seas the Day and Dive Into Learning,” focuses on the use of technology in a variety of facets of education, as well as how implementing the latest innovations can help teachers reach students at all learning levels achieve their full potential.

Attendees can select from an in-person or virtual conference experience this year, meaning that you don’t necessarily have to come to Virginia Beach to participate. FETC 2023 - January 23-26, 2023 - New Orleans, LA

If you’re in the New Orleans area, plan on attending the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) this January! Attendees can look forward to a truly innovative and interactive experience in themed sessions, or Theaters, that include information technology, thought leadership, e-sports, STEM and more.

And that’s not all! TCEA 2023 - January 30-February 2, 2023 - San Antonio, TX

The annual TCEA conference is an excellent resource for educators looking to better engage their students through technology while maintaining a focus on solid teaching. Described on the conference website as “the intersection of passion and possibility, curiosity and discovery, education and technology,” this year’s TCEA conference is sure to inspire teachers and school administrators to imagine a bright future for their students with the latest high-tech products and curriculum.

For the organization’s 43rd year, the convention and exposition focuses its annual event on connecting educators with innovative teaching strategies and techniques, as well as with each other, with an astounding session listing of over 700 topics such as STEAM, English language arts, digital citizenship, leadership and much, much more! ISTELive 23 - June 25-28, 2023 - Philadelphia, PA

Mark your calendars! ISTE (the International Society for Technology in Education) is gearing up for their annual convention, and this time it’s in the City of Brotherly Love.
